The ship-side International Shore Connection required under SOLAS Chapter II-2

  Regulation 10.2.1.7 — the fitting every vessel over 500GT must carry so that

  shore-based firefighting water can be connected to the ship's fire main.

 

  Brass body with the slotted four-position flange specified for the vessel-carried

  unit. The slots let the flange drop over partially tightened studs and lock with a

  part turn, which is what makes the connection possible under emergency conditions

  rather than workshop conditions.

  **Interoperability**

  The 65mm BSP female outlet accepts our full adapter range, so one ISC covers a

  vessel regardless of what standard the shore side is running:

  - BIC (British Instantaneous) — Commonwealth-flagged vessels and older tonnage

  - Storz 65, 52-C and 38 — European, German, Dutch and Scandinavian equipment

  - Nakajima 65 and 50A — Japanese-flagged vessels

  - NOR 66 — Norwegian and Scandinavian vessels and offshore craft

 

  Supplied with rubber flange gasket. Fastener kits available separately, or order

  the ISC Hardware Kit for bolts, nuts, washers and gasket in one part number.
